National Vegetarian Week starts tomorrow (16th – 22nd May) so I thought I would share some of my favourites from restaurants in London this Spring. If you haven’t already tried these, add them to your list!
Kebabs are the next in the culinary trend of gourmet fast food following the footsteps of hot dogs, meatballs and burgers. The creative foodie founders of Le Bab, Stephen Tozer and Ed Brunet, met at university and decided to turn everyone’s favourite kebab stop into a gourmet dining experience. The food is cooked on a wood, charcoal-fired robata and incorporates seasonal ingredients and the wood-fired flavours of the Middle East, near East and South East Asia. The meal was delicious, particularly the paneer bab. Slightly cramped with tightly packed tables and good service. Another one to try in the food heaven that is Kingly Court!
